Pull and Grip Strength Progression Pt.2


In this progression series, Coach Carl demonstrates different ways to build up pull and grip strength with different gear through multiple modalities.

In this video, Carl now works on pulling mechanics with a neutral wrist, but still focusing on external rotation in the shoulders for a good position.  To train this, Carl specifically uses the Rogue Monster Grip Triangle since it allows the hands to be narrowly placed, wrists neutral, and the parallel bars helps shoulders maintain external rotation.  Additionally, a pull up using the Monster Grip Triangle will require the body to lean back and go into extension, looking almost like a row at the top of the pull up.
