great WOD today i enjoyed "attempting" the no false grip. defiantly something to work towards. @ CrossFit TakeOver!!!!

Muscle ups and I are not in a good place in our relationship but we're trying to work through it. One day we'll be best friends. But I liked trying this new technique!

Enjoyed the challenge of something new and got a lot out of the MU work today. Been working on the MU’s for a while and so far I have been its bitch. The banded progression was spot on and look forward to working on that more.  CrossFit TakeOver

We made the gymnastics wod from 10/05 our workout of the day today at CrossFit TakeOver in Virginia Beach. Our athletes are welcoming the additional gymnastics movements and progressions whole heartedly. They would love to see CTO host one of your seminars.....

 

Had trouble with the transitions at first but Coach Sean straightened me out. Good stuff!

I can do false grip muscle ups, but can”t quite get the regular grip muscle up. I’m close, but close doesn’t count. Definitely something to work on. @ CrossFit TakeOver

did the 5 Oct WOD for muscle up progressions. still a good ways to go, but some helpful tips and cool new techniques. - CrossFit TakeOver VA Beach

Different wod today but fun. Looking forward to some more. CrossFit TakeOver.

Pike stretch: got to the ankles and knees bent if I held at the bottom of the feet

Bridge up: Felt pretty good, but have to work on some wrist and shoulder mobility (arms were not completely straight)

Pancake split: definitely not able to even get the elbow to the floor

German Hang: this was tough to hold, but the only one I was able to do the full stretch

Middle split: Considerably off the floor.

Added some trampoline work and hand-stand skill work....Great start to the day!

Fun workout. The pit is a little creepy, but another technique to learn.

I did the 10/5 gymnasticsWOD # CrossFit TakeOver on Wed.  It was great, I loved working on the muscle ups.  For some reason I can't do false grip but have no issues with a regular grip.  Always something to work on.

Then on the pullups/row I went 34/29/23/12 I think.  Great workout

Held pike stretch for required 2 min

Held Bridge Up for 1 min

Pancake split - if you could call it that.

Middle split. -need more flexibility, goal is to get a split within 6 months.

Is this possible?
