My whole body is sore, so I thought I would try this. My side splits are nowhere close to the ground...super inflexible! But I tried, had to tap out for a few seconds in each set. The leading leg was shaking from hamstring tightness. Right hip was making a little popping on the front leg swings too.
This was the best it's ever felt. I took everything you've been telling me and decided to really work on learning to move and control my body. Still have a long way to go to be able to do this in a WOD, but I kept my toes pointed and butt squeezed and was able to take a few steps. Sure I've gotten a few steps before, but that was luck. I could definitely tell the difference...this was skill. Yay!!!
